Descriptively explain your current knowledge about Star Wars:
After roleplaying in SWG for many years, watching the movies over and over, playing various Star Wars video games, and spending some free time just looking things on Wookieepedia…I would like to say my knowledge of Star Wars is exceptional. I have been doing a lot of studying about the current age we are in as well obviously so I understand about the time in which we will be living with this new Star Wars game.
How would you define a quality member?
A quality member is a member who puts others before himself. In this case being a Jedi this is all the more important heh. A quality member does his part if he likes it or not and tries to help improve the community in any way he can. I believe the best quality member is a person that others trust and are not afraid to ask advice from, or seek guidance from.
Have you read over the guild rules? Prove it. Be creative or give insight on some of the rules you agree with or disagree with.
Guild Rules:http://theoldjediorder.webs.com/njorules.htm
Rule 1: Of course, respect is a complete giving and no guild can be held together with out.
Rule 2: I agree with this one as well. There is no real need for profanity…and even if you have to you can make it Star Warsy.
Rule 3: I don’t know about anyone else, but I can’t stand racist and sexist people. Strongly agree on this one.
Rule 4: There should never be a problem with taking orders, which is what ranks are for. However in a case of power abuse if the higher rank’s word is more valuable I always found this rule to be a dud.
Rule5: Indeed. The purpose of having more experienced members in a higher rank is for them to help others learn.
Rule 6: Sounds like a complete anti Sith rule, sounds good to me.
Rule7: Agreed, reflection of your guild and its members are important.
Rule 8: Saw plenty of that in SWG…its annoying to the other players on the server. Agreed.
Rule 9: Sounds like there has been previous experience with this since it is a unique rule. However it does happen and I agree that everyone has to keep a sharp eye out.
Rule 10: Best rule of all.
Do you agree to follow them to the best of your ability?
I do.
What are your expectations upon joining this guild?
Being able to enjoy the game with a group of level headed, friendly people. However I also would enjoy a rich roleplay experience as well since I also have a passion for RPing.
How did you hear about us?
Official SWTOR recruiting boards, very attractive post.
What is your own definition of respect?
Some consider my philosophy on respect to be simple. Be polite to one another and respect each others opinions.
Do you confirm, that you are a mature player of mind, and will respect the rules of the guild. You are responsible for your own actions. Should you ever have any problems, questions or concerns, you will be expected come to the council so that we may discuss them openly and maturely to find a solution to your issue/s:
I do.
What is your definition of loyalty?
Loyalty to me means you are always there to turn to no matter what the situation might be.
Have you been in a previous guild? Reason for leaving?
I have not.
How would you describe yourself in less then 20 words?
Laid back and very casual. Easy going person, very go with the flow. However wise and knowledgeable as well.
Will you be willing to learn in a Star Wars envrionment following a mild to low RP setting among members?
Willing and ready.
History and experience in the gaming world?
SWG-6 years/Level 90 Jedi/Level 90 Bounty Hunter/Level 90 Officer.
WoW-2 years/Level 80 Mage/Level 76 Hunter/Level 42 Warrior.
LotRO-2 years/65 Captain/60 Hunter
Whats are your skills and talents? (One's you typically enjoy doing)
Well in game, it would be roleplaying. I know this is a low to mild RP guild but I do have a passion for it and want to do it. I also have a knack for PvE and have led raids in all of the previous MMOs I have played.
