Descriptively explain your current knowledge about Star Wars: I live in Mexico, in here science fiction is not that popular, especially when it comes to Star Wars, but I consider myself a sick fan. Not only did I went everywhere with my toy lightsaber until I was 14... shutup... but also I keep buying more and more Star Wars games and playing them, specially the KOTOR ones. How much do I know about the Star Wars Universe? let's just say that I've made it a routine to go to wookieepedia.com and search for anything everyday to fill my SW knowledge, thank you Internet. So yeah, I know almost everything about sw.
How would you define a quality member? Not necessarily one who plays a lot, but one that when it plays, It always does something important for him or the guild.
Have you read over the guild rules? Prove it. Be creative or give insight on some of the rules you agree with or disagree with.
Guild Rules:http://theoldjediorder.webs.com/njorules.htm
Rule 1: good job, the first step into any sort of organization is mutual respect with each other, like it.
Rule 2: Same as the first, I think you should include both rules in one. just to save space.
Rule 3: Again, it instantly should be included in the first one.
Rule 4: Nice, even the King must obey the laws, I agree.
Rule 5: Oh, I can't wait to train with my master and eventually have my own padawan! such an honor.
Rule 6: I don't see how I would accomplish something like that, anyway, you've got my word.
Rule 7: Again, mutual respect, understood already!
Rule 8: I actually don't know how to hack, I suppose glitches come from in game errors, and I don't think it is possible to cheat in an MMO, at least in those which I've played, you couldn't.
Rule 9: Skip to rule 10 to see my full opinion.
Rule 10: I know perfectly that, sadly, star wars is just a fantasy story created by a money thirsty Goerge Lucas which just happened to come out at the right moment in time, and everything that has come out from there, books, comics, videogames, is just fantasy set in a galaxy far far away, a long time ago, but somehow in the future... or not... As such, I understand that this is just a game, therefore It must not be taken too seriously, if there is a fire in my house, I'm not gonna risk my life to save the game (though maybe my computer), as such, I understand that TOR and this guild are just for fun and I won't be taking it too seriously. Also, I won't be commenting about other members style of "speaking" I know a lot of them like to keep a story immersed character and I won't disrespect that in any way. so yeah, there it goes.
Do you agree to follow them to the best of your ability? If I don't. let the force strike me with a lighting bolt... and live, but destroy my computer and game. in other words, yes.
What are your expectations upon joining this guild? Find a lot of geeks like me who just love to be a Jedi and play MMO's, and have fun safely and respectfully.
How did you hear about us? Just searched the TOR forums and found you.
What is your own definition of respect? Let others behave the way they want as long as it doesn't conflict with the way others like to be, if they do, then one must interfere and stop the disrespectful player.
Do you confirm, that you are a mature player of mind, and will respect the rules of the guild. You are responsible for your own actions. Should you ever have any problems, questions or concerns, you will be expected come to the council so that we may discuss them openly and maturely to find a solution to your issue/s: Think of me as a Jedi scoundrel, meaning that I won't miss the opportunity to make a joke or two. But when it comes to being serious, I'm also your man, so yeah, I hope to be one of the best examples in showing maturity and respect within the game. Thank you.
What is your definition of loyalty? Loyalty must not be to a person, but to an ideal, If one is following a person, then that is not being loyal, it is being an admirer of sorts. If for example a knight is following his king, with the hopes that his king stands for everything he and all of his brethren stand for, but then the king begins to slip from that ideal, then true loyalty is to stop following that king, and keep searching for the ideal, even if it is without any leadership. Be loyal, but no to a figure that is just immortal, but to your dreams, ideals and goals. As such, I will follow the guilds Ideals, and try to stop anyone who doesn't respect them, even if it is my own master.
Have you been in a previous guild? Reason for leaving? I've played a lot of free MMO's throughout the years, but I've never been with a guild before, you could say this is my first.
How would you describe yourself in less then 20 words? Sexy Mexican Globalism Obsessed with Sci-fi and Games who can Draw and be a good friend and player for all.
Will you be willing to learn in a Star Wars envrionment following a mild to low RP setting among members? Yeah, but not to the extreme of actually believing it in real life, it is just a game, folks.
History and experience in the gaming world? I think I've been playing games since I was five, at first I was only a Nintendo fanatic, until recently Nintendo has disappointed me with the Wii, now I got an Xbox 360 and I have only M rated games, including Fallout 3. I had my first computer at the age of 13, and internet when i was 14. I have and still play SWKOTOR, SWKOTOR2, the Sims 2, Spore (big mistake) and I have played a lot of MMO's only thing is, they've all been free and downloadable, first one I think it was 9 dragons, and the last one has been Chronicles of spellborn, which I don't play because my computer can't handle it, I think.
Whats are your skills and talents? (One's you typically enjoy doing) I actually CAN draw, my friends and family admire me, in fact, if I only had a scanner, I could show you some of them in my Deviantart page. I also enjoy writing... believe me, you'll be hearing from me in the not too distant future. And of course my passion in games competes only with my passion for Anime, which is to say a lot.
